After the marriage is registered. A notice is put out at the office of the Marriage Registrar's office for 30 days to ask for objections against the scheduled marriage. If an objection is filed, appeal can be filed at the office of the Registrar general of Marriages, Pune. Rejection of the application can be challenged in the Court to determine the course of action.
