What do you mean by court marriage?
Court marriage is a legal process for the wedding of partners. Article 21 of the Indian constitution allows everyone to marry the person of their choice irrespective of caste, religion, or gender. All the court marriages in India are completed under the Special Marriage Act, 1954.
Eligibility For The Marriage Of partners
The minimum age of both the partners: male - 21 years & female - 18 years
No one ( either bride or groom ) must not be suffering from any severe mental illness during the time of marriage
Valid consent of both male & female partners are needed ( forced marriage is not allowed )
Bigamy is not allowed in India
In the case of a previous relationship, either the spouse is dead or they have got the divorce decree from the court.
Both the partners must not belong to any forbidden relationship or prohibited relationship

What is marriage registration?
Marriage Registration is a process in which the marriage of partners completed as per the ritual is registered in court in the presence of the marriage registrar. Generally, it takes 3-4 hours for the completion of marriage registration in court.
